This Thanksgiving we are reflecting on all the blessings of 2016. Sometimes we get bogged down in daily life, and it’s easy to lose sight of how far Truitt has come. If the doctors had come to us the day Truitt was born and told us that his life would be saved, and he would have to face ongoing swelling (lymphedema) in his hands and feet, we would have taken that deal in a heartbeat. Sometimes, it just takes a little perspective to remind us of all we have to be thankful for.
We have our family, our precious baby Truitt, and food on the table. And some amazing family and friends who have come alongside us during one of the most difficult times in our life. So much to be thankful for.
Happy Thanksgiving.

"You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You."
